Hello everyone, I am Siska Dea Rizkita, a student from SMK N 4 Semarang. Here I will share a story with you. Last Wednesday, I learned to be a tour guide with correct pronunciation, intonation, fluent and clearness. This learning can teach us how to be a good tour guide in serving tourists. The following is an example of a dialogue between a tour guide and a tourist.

Hello everyone. My name is Siska Dea Rizkita, as your tour guide. I'd like to welcome you all to Semarang. The bus ride from your hotel to lawang sewu will take about fifteen minutes. Right now I'd like to take a minute to familiarize you with the area and discuss some brief safety precautions. Firstly, I ask that you remain seated until we reach our destination and that you not eat or drink while on the bus. Second, please follow to your schedule. Enjoy your vacation.

I promise you will enjoy your stay here in Semarang. Semarang is a beautiful city and is quite famous for its beauty, namely the Tugu Muda fountain and the Lawang Sewu tourist destination. Lawang Sewu is one of the interesting tourist attractions in Semarang. Lawang Sewu, is one of the historical buildings in Semarang. There, we can learn about the history of the building. Apart from that, there you can also take photos. There you will also enjoy beautiful views.

Tour guide : "Ok, up to this point, has anyone asked?"

Tourist: "Excuse me sir, why is the building called Lawang Sewu?"

Tour guide : "Because the building has many doors, it is likened to a thousand doors, even though the number of doors is not a thousand"

Tour guide : "Ok, does anyone have any more questions?"

Tourist : "Excuse me sir, what is there in Lawang Sewu?"

Tour guide : "There are historical wall magazine as well as ancient photos of Lawang Sewu, a replica of a steam train, a thousand doors, an underground room, and many more." 

Tour guide : "Umm ok, if no one asks any more. We're going to be pulling up at the Lawang Sewu just a few minutes. Please sit back and enjoy the ride. I ask that you remain in your seats until we come to a complete stop. Rudi will meet us at the bus to help you with your bags. Please double check to make sure your bags has been taken off the bus. On behalf me, have a wonderful vacation in Lawang Sewu and I hope to see you tomorrow at the information session."
